IINTORQ GmbH & Co. KG is a German manufacturer of various types of brakes and clutches used for a variety of applications. This company was once owned by Lenze, who spun off their brake division in 2005 and renamed it INTORQ.

INTORQ produces a wide range of brake and clutches for numerous applications in diverse industries including Theatre, wind power, redundant brakes for elevators, industrial gearmotors and servomotors. These clutches and brakes can be customized to any specific requirements and function using friction engagement for rotating friction disc format and single pole face. The most common Lenze Brake type 14.448.xx was directly replated by the INTORQ BFK458 series. These parts can be interchangeable starting at size 12.
